In the early 90s the owners of Sol de Andes took the challenge of producing a family of the highest quality noble wines. Capitalizing on nature's blessings, and using high-end technologies and centennial winemaking traditions, the company devoted itself to choosing the best location for its vineyards, selecting the finest varieties, and building a state-of-the-art cellar.
In 1993, Sol de Andes settled in the Maule Valley, the largest wine-producing region in Chile, with a tradition that dates as far back as the 17th century. The first harvest took place in 1994, with the resulting wines being immediately recognized for their quality and nobility. Since then, thanks to Sol de Andes meticulous vineyard management and a careful winemaking process, it has year after year, consolidated its prestige as a manufacturer of fine wines.
In 2003, Sol de Andes acquired other 30 hectares in the area of Los Lingues located in the eastern part of Colchagua Valley, 140 Km south of Santiago city. On those hectares the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere and Syrah are cultivated. The purpose is to obtain different qualities in the grape varieties that those obtained in the Maule Valley .
Multiple medals and recognitions have been obtained in diverse national and international competitions, together with the satisfaction of having been able to produce wines which give the best in our land.
Our Philosophy is to produce elegant, noble and pleasant drinking wines, with clearly defined flavors and aromas that extract and maintain the terroir character of each variety.
