The Ernst & Co Pinot Noir 2006 shows the typically delicate floral aromatics of the grape with a slight earthy, forest floor note underlying it.  Then in the mouth it’s abundant berries, cherry, spice, earth and some dark cherry flavors.  It shows gentle mouth feel but there’s gutsy power too.  Delicious!  The Ernst & Co Pinot noir 2006 has good ageing potential, but can also be served now.  It can be enjoyed on its own or with red meat dishes and pastas.
