The Four Gates Shiraz 2005 has a deep red colour.  The nose is forthcoming with aromas of ripe berry fruit and an elegant spiciness typical of the variety.  A complexity of flavours include the aromas on the nose as well as berries, beetroot and delicate mint on the lingering aftertaste.  An outstanding feature of this wine is the perfectly smooth tannins that are well balanced with a variety of flavours.  The Four Gates Shiraz 2005 is light bodied and made to serve in the next two years.  It can be enjoyed on its own or with spice red meat dishes.
